This week i ran into a problem, that problem was that I made the mistake to procrastinate. I didn't do my math blogs so now I had to do this blog over thanksgiving brake. I now know to not procrastinate or there will be penalties for it. This is a great example of the mistake.learn.grow process because I made the mistake of procrastinating, I learned the effects of procrastinating, and now I have grown because now I won't procrastinate.
This week during math class I made a mistake, the mistake I made was when we were solving for our rocket impulse my equation had the variable e in it. When we started going farther into finding the total impulse I ran into a problem, there was no e value. Adam explained to the class that the e variable is already predetermined so we can't use it in our equations. After he announced that I fixed my equation and went back to work. This is a good example of the mistake learn grow process because after I made the mistake of using e as a variable I learned that it was a predetermined value and I grew because now I know not to use e as a value on desmos.
In math this week one mistake I made was during the function presentations, the mistake I made was I wasn't prepared enough for my presentation. When I went up I didn't have enough content to talk about. During this I learned to plan for presentations better so that I will have enough content to share. This is an example of the mistake.learn.grow. process because I now know to prepare better for presentations.
This week in math class one mistake I made was in the stewardship project, I kept messing up on a price list for the company I was making. The way that I messed up was at first I didn't have a price list witch Adam brought up when I was pitching my business Idea to him, witch was a way that I grew by learning to always have everything finished before trying to turn something in or give a pitch. The second part of my mistake was the fact that part of my price list was wrong, the price for 15 minutes was $18 dollars but the price for 30 minutes was $55. Adam quickly pointed out my mistake , and I grew by now always checking my work. during this process I learned to make sure that I always double check my work.I used the mistake.learn.grow. process to learn about giving pitches and checking for mistakes.
I learned how to do the paperclip problem by getting help from my pier. My problem I had was I wasn't using exact measurements and my answers to the problem were not accurate, I was just guessing the length of the distance of the curve, so my answer was not very accurate. I had a friend who told me about the formula to find the length of a curve so that i could get a more exact measurement for my paperclip. I wouldn't have ever leaned how to find the length of curves if I hadn't made the mistake of assuming the distance of them. This represents the mistake learn grow process because I made the mistake of not using any formula for my measurements, I learned to use a formula to measure curves, and I grew because now I will always use a formula when I am trying to measure a curve.
This week one mistake I made was in the arabic challenge, I didn't know that you had to connect all of the letters when you write a word, which added a significant amount of mistakes. I now know about connecting letters in arabic so my arabic writing will be more correct. Because of me making the mistake of not connecting letters in arabic I learned about connecting letters in arabic. This represents the mistake.learn.grow process because i made the mistake of not connecting letters, I learned to connect the letters and I have grown because now I know to connect my letters when writing arabic.
